וַיְכֻלּוּ הַשָּׁמַיִם וְהָאָרֶץ וְכָל צְבָאָםוַיְכַל אֱלֹהִים בַּיּוֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי מְלַאכְתּוֹ אֲשֶׁר עָשָׂה, וַיִּשְׁבֹּת בַּיּוֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי מִכָּל מְלַאכְתּוֹ אֲשֶׁר עָשָׂהוַיְבָרֶךְ אֱלֹהִים אֶת יוֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי וַיְקַדֵּשׁ אֹתוֹ, כִּי בוֹ שָׁבַת מִכָּל מְלַאכְתּוֹ אֲשֶׁר בָּרָא אֱלֹהִים לַעֲשׂוֹתבָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יְיָ אֱלֹהֵינוּ מֶלֶךְ הָעוֹלָם, בּוֹרֵא פְּרִי הַגָּפֶןבָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יְיָ אֱלֹהֵינוּ מֶלֶךְ הָעוֹלָם, אֲשֶׁר קִדְּשָׁנוּ בְּמִצְוֺתָיו וְרָצָה בָנוּוְשַׁבַּת קָדְשׁוֹ בְּאַהֲבָה וּבְרָצוֹן הִנְחִילָנוּ, זִכָּרוֹן לְמַעֲשֵׂה בְרֵאשִׁיתכִּי הוּא יוֹם תְּחִלָּה לְמִקְרָאֵי קֹדֶשׁ, זֵכֶר לִיצִיאַת מִצְרָיִםכִּי בָנוּ בָחַרְתָּ וְאוֹתָנוּ קִדַּשְׁתָּ מִכָּל הָעַמִּים, וְשַׁבַּת קָדְשְׁךָ בְּאַהֲבָה וּבְרָצוֹן הִנְחַלְתָּנוּבָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יְיָ, מְקַדֵּשׁ הַשַּׁבָּת

Vaykhulu hashamayim veha'aretz vekhol tzeva'am Vaykhal Elohim bayom hashevi'i melakhto asher asah, vayishbot bayom hashevi'i mikol melakhto asher asah Vayvarekh Elohim et yom hashevi'i vaykadesh oto, ki vo shavat mikol melakhto asher bara Elohim la'asot Barukh atah Adonai Eloheinu melekh ha'olam, borei peri hagafen Barukh atah Adonai Eloheinu melekh ha'olam, asher kideshanu bemitzvotav veratzah vanu Veshabat kodsho be'ahavah uvratzon hinchilanu, zikaron lema'aseh vereshit Ki hu yom techilah lemikra'ei kodesh, zekher litzi'at Mitzrayim Ki vanu vacharta ve'otanu kidashta mikol ha'amim, veshabat kodshekha be'ahavah uvratzon hinchaltanu Barukh atah Adonai, mekadesh haShabbat

The heavens and the earth were finished, and all their array. On the seventh day God finished the work that had been done, and rested on the seventh day from all the work. God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, for on it God rested from all the work of creation. Blessed are You, Adonai our God, Sovereign of the universe, Creator of the fruit of the vine. Blessed are You, Adonai our God, Sovereign of the universe, who made us holy with commandments and took delight in us. and lovingly and willingly gave us the holy Shabbat as a heritage, a reminder of the work of creation. For it is the first of the sacred occasions, a remembrance of the exodus from Egypt. For You chose us and made us holy among all peoples, and lovingly gave us Your holy Shabbat as a heritage. Blessed are You, Adonai, who makes Shabbat holy.
